Takakeisho is dropping to Sekiwake. Previously there were rumors that he'd just retire rather than make the Ozeki comeback bid, but that was when we thought he had elder stock lined up. Now he's going to drag his wounded body back to the Dohyo once more, so we take this opportunity to discuss neck injuries in sumo with a PA who specializes in neck injuries, and just so happens to be a sumo fan herself!
